Socialism is so poorly understood nowadays, by the public, by the media, by politicians, by me and by you, that it has become easy for the rich and the powerful to stigmatise a movement that began and remains an extension of democracy, as being a threat to democracy. What this blog will (hopefully) do is to rediscover socialism, to reinvent it to apply to a modern era of information, and to reclaim it from the bogeyman status it holds when defined by its enemies alone.
